Acting considerate, planning, calculating and constantly questioning whether the previous step was the right one to ultimately reach the goal. Market research and climbing are evidently more similar than it appears at first glance. It takes stamina, energy, endurance, strength and courage to achieve the goal. But in both cases you also need a team that you trust and that backs you up.

Therefore, the selected team building event this year seemed appropriate. In June 2009, we visited the climbing factory, an indoor climbing center in Cologne.

True to this motto we overcame ourselves, of course after a thorough introduction by the staff of the climbing factory, to climb up the 16 meter high wall. We were secured only by our colleagues on the ground. Mutual trust and teamwork became a physical, one might even say an existential component on that day. Accompanied by the knowledgeto be in safe hands, the day was a great success. We could even show off already acquired knowledge. We already knew the necessary figure of from last years’ team sailing.

 

The shared climbing experience left a lasting impression, so we came together after a short time to once again lose ground and go climbing for the second time.
