Sometimes concerns get a certain momentum, so at the end the result is something different than originally intended.

In the spring of 2008, cycle and fitness coach Tim Ford asked SKOPOS whether the company would be interested to sponsor cycle jerseys of different teams.
"As a sports enthusiast, I saw the opportunity not only of a positive image effect but at the same time to get some colleagues in the saddle," says CEO Marcus Dreyer.

In September 2008, our cycling team consisting of Marcus Dreyer, Olaf Hofmann, Torsten Bischoffstrate, Armin Dobratz and Stefan Engenhorst traded the comfortable seat of the office chair against the hard leather of the racing saddle and participated at the Cyclassics in Hamburg, which took place for the 13th time in the last year. The race, which attracted over 22,000 cyclists, served as a first test and test of physical performance on the bike. About 800,000 fans lined the track in Hamburg, certainly not only for us as participants a highlight, and cheered for us and the other courageous participants of the race with rattles and trumpets.

Strongly infected with the "cycling virus" we planned to address several Everyone races in 2009. At Easter, we completed the 93rd edition of the Rhenish classic "Rund um Köln", Berlin followed in June. "It's a great feeling to drive over the Kurfürstendamm with over 40 km/h", the Berlin-born Marcus Dreyer realised after 63 km.

In summer 2009, races in Munich, on the Nurburgring at the "Wheel of the Ring" followed , and of course the highlight again the Hamburg Cyclassics with over 100 km of incomparable view from the Köhlbrandtbridge at the end of the race.

Over the winter, we now have to relax, but also preserve the shape at least partly because a similar program is planned in 2010.
